Refunds, Withdrawal & Complaints
Last updated / effective: 7 August 2026
This page explains your payment, your right to withdraw, refunds, and how to make a complaint. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. How payment works
- New accounts start with a free five-day period. No payment method is required and nothing is charged. There is no plan to choose and nothing to cancel.
- You are charged only if you choose to buy a plan, and then as a single, one-time payment. There is no recurring subscription and no automatic renewal — we will not charge you again for that access, and we will not charge you when the free period ends.
- Prices are shown before you pay.
- On the web, payment is handled by our payment provider (Stripe).
- In our mobile apps, purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which act as the seller (merchant of record) for that purchase.
2. If you do not want to continue
Do nothing. The free period ends on its own, no payment is taken, and there is no subscription to cancel. Your account and the entries you wrote remain yours — you can read and delete them, or delete the account entirely, from your profile.
3. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
As an EU consumer you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
Digital service supplied immediately: at checkout we ask you to (1) expressly request that we begin providing the Service at once, and (2) acknowledge that it then starts before the 14 days end. If you withdraw during the 14 days after the Service has begun, you may be required to pay an amount proportionate to what has already been provided up to the moment you tell us you are withdrawing — you do not lose the right outright. If you do not give this consent, the standard 14-day withdrawal right applies until the Service starts.
We send you a confirmation of the contract by email (a durable medium), including the record of your request and acknowledgement above.
4. How to withdraw
You can withdraw using our online withdrawal form at /legal/withdraw (no login or app needed), or by a clear statement sent to info@victoryextraction.com, before the deadline. Either way you receive a timestamped confirmation by email. You may use this model form:
Model withdrawal form To: Štefan Letošťák, Betliarska 3809/22, 851 07 Bratislava-Petržalka, info@victoryextraction.com I/we hereby give notice that I/we withdraw from my/our contract for the following service: Victory Extraction. Ordered on / received on: __________ Name of consumer: __________ Address of consumer: __________ Date: __________
5. Refunds
- Purchases made in our mobile apps are refunded by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us — including a refund after you delete your account. Contact them, or us, and we will help.
- Where a refund is due (for example a valid withdrawal before performance began, or as required by law), we refund using the same payment method you used, without undue delay and within 14 days.
- Beyond your statutory rights, we may consider good-will refunds at our discretion — contact us and explain the situation.
6. Complaints about service defects
If the Service is defective or not as described, your rights are governed by the Slovak Civil Code and consumer-protection law (we do not operate a separate complaints code). To make a complaint, contact info@victoryextraction.com with your account email and a description of the problem. We will confirm receipt, handle the complaint within the statutory period, and inform you of the outcome.
7. Alternative dispute resolution (ADR)
If we cannot resolve a dispute directly, you may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body. The competent body in Slovakia is:
- Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia, SOI) — Inšpektorát SOI pre Bratislavský kraj, Bajkalská 21/A, P. O. Box 5, 820 07 Bratislava · https://www.soi.sk
Using ADR is voluntary and does not affect your right to go to court.
(The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and no longer accepts complaints.)
